About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the development and execution of its human capital and organizational culture strategy. The CPO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing global HR, talent acquisition, and retention, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices. This role demands a visionary leader who can align HR strategies with business objectives, drive organizational success, and support the company's growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be tasked with strategic leadership in organizational development, talent management, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture. They will also be involved in crisis and change management, particularly in humanitarian response contexts, and will be expected to have a strong background in global HR operations, employment law, and best practices. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience. A minimum of 7 years in a senior/executive HR role is required, along with a proven track record in global HR operations, talent management, and culture transformation. Experience in international, mission-driven organizations or NGOs is highly desirable. The role demands exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and strategic decision-making skills, as well as proficiency in HR software tools. The CPO will be responsible for ensuring equitable and inclusive practices, fostering a culture of belonging and respect, and leading initiatives to enhance employee experience, well-being, and engagement.
