On-Board Engineering Corp is seeking One (1) Qualified Process / Chemical Engineer with design experience in Industrial environments to join its Engineering Team.

Position Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Job Location : New Castle, DE (Hybrid Remote and in-Office)
Shift : First

Compensation : $45 - $65/hr depending upon qualifications.
Job Overview:
This position will involve small sized to mid-sized projects with responsibilities ranging from proposal writing, project engineering/management and client communications. Some local travel to plant sites is required on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years or more of chemical engineering experience for industrial, chemical, manufacturing, type of facilities.
• Knowledge in equipment sizing and process safety valve calculations.
• Competent in Project Management activities such as scope development, cost estimates, bid package development, and scheduling.
• Nice to have but not required, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in any State or the ability to attain a P.E. in one year is preferred but not required.

Job Duties:

• As a Process Engineer you will do things like develop scopes and estimates, create proposals, and execute projects by directing and coordinating activities of all members of a project team on your assigned project.
• You will interact with our clients and the other members of the project team throughout each project's life cycle. When you develop detailed project scopes and discipline budgets, you will be responsible to monitor all project activities to ensure execution and service is of the highest quality, remains within budget, and completes on time.
• You will handle a mix of projects in both new and existing industrial facilities.
• You will certainly need to have good written and verbal communications skills but if you also have CAD skills in 2D and 3D that would be a plus but is not required.
