Business Office Assistant (BOA)

The Business Office Assistant is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all duties of Accounts Payable Clerk. Should be knowledgeable in accounts receivable and Resident Trust.
  • Insurance (Medicare, private insurances, Medicaid, etc.) billing and verification of benefits & coverage as well.
  • Meet and greet with residents and/or families for completion of the admission packets.
  • Collections

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or its equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous business office experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Collections experience is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in the Medicaid application process.
