Business Office Assistant (BOA)

The Business Office Assistant is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility.
Responsibilities
Performs all duties of Accounts Payable Clerk. Should be knowledgeable in accounts receivable and Resident Trust.
Insurance (Medicare, private insurances, Medicaid, etc.) billing and verification of benefits & coverage as well.
Meet and greet with residents and/or families for completion of the admission packets.
Collections
Qualifications
High school graduate or its equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Previous business office experience is highly preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Collections experience is preferred.
Knowledgeable in the Medicaid application process.
