This role is part of the Global Sales Organization, based in Maryland or the Mid-Atlantic region, and is fully remote. You will join the North American Sales Team, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (East), focusing on driving growth and maintaining client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic US (MD, VA, WV, DC). Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and close new business in biotech, pharma, academic, and government sectors within the territory. Build and nurture relationships with new clients, supporting ongoing and future programs. Coordinate with inside sales and technical teams to optimize sales processes. Provide accurate forecasts and visibility into revenue opportunities. Manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM systems. Minimum Requirements: B.S. in a scientific field. At least 5 years in a client-facing sales role within the life sciences industry, with a proven top-performer track record, preferably in biopharma and cell/gene therapy segments. Broad understanding of molecular and cell biology workflows, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vectors, CAR-T, etc. Minimum 1 year of sales experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapies or Contract Development/Manufacturing Organizations. Minimum 1 year of sales experience in clinical drug development, understanding call points, sales cycles, and KOL engagement in biotech/pharma. Preferred Qualifications: MSc or PhD. Experience supporting clinical programs and GMP manufacturing. This position offers remote work flexibility, a salary range of $145,000-$185,000, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits including paid time off, insurance, and 401(k).
