Automotive Product Specialist / Genius

We are looking for self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment. If you have excellent customer service and organizational skills, you will do well in the automotive industry. A Product Specialist is extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles at our dealership.

If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for assisting customers, then we want you to be part of our team. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. Must also be self-motivated and eager to learn.

The ideal person will also:

• Maintain inventory for the dealership
  
• Detail client vehicles if needed
  
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
  
• Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
  
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles
  
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries

• Product sales, where you first determine the customer’s requirements, then using your product knowledge, show and demonstrate the product(s) that best meet those needs. (Appliances, Computers, Televisions, Audio Systems, are examples.)
  
• Product/service sales where the competition demands that you know why the customer should buy what you have to offer. (Internet access, mobile phones, etc.)
  
• Servers and Bartenders in restaurants and clubs.
  
• Sales of Time Shares, Vacation Packages, Cruises, Fitness Center/Gym Memberships, Country Club Memberships, etc.

Requirements

• Experience, education and prior sales training are a PLUS.
  
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
