The Remote Audio Visual (AV) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting audio-visual systems to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization. This role involves configuring AV hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support for virtual events, meetings, and multimedia productions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain AV systems for remote and hybrid work environments.
Troubleshoot AV equipment, including cameras, microphones, projectors, and conferencing platforms.
Provide live event support, including webinars, training sessions, and presentations.
Manage integration between AV systems and collaboration platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex).
Create and maintain system documentation and training materials.
Coordinate with vendors for installations, upgrades, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with AV and IT security standards.
Qualifications:
Experience with AV systems and conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex, Crestron, Polycom).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of network configurations related to AV systems.
Excellent communication skills for remote user support.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
