Apply today and learn how MedStar Health can be your next great career move! Primary Duties Assist the anesthesia provider in preparing patients for anesthesia. Clean and maintain anesthesia gas machines, ventilators, carts, and trays. Maintain the Anesthesia Work Room and storage areas in an organized manner. Ensure proper sterilization of reusable equipment. Inspect equipment and supplies daily, report issues, and manage inventory. Assist in supply requisitions and inventory management. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on anesthesia equipment. Conduct quality checks on blood warmers and thermometers. Provide bedside care as a Care Associate/CNA under RN supervision. Assist in training new staff and students. Support clerical tasks, including record keeping and communication. Prepare sterile supplies and maintain aseptic techniques. Manage drug inventory, record usage, and update requisitions. Transport blood, specimens, and patients as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1-year related experience. BLS certification. Preferred: CNA certification by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Preferred: ACLS certification.
