We are seeking skilled Advanced Assembly Technicians with hands-on experience in small-part assembly, ideally within the medical device industry. This role focuses on the precision assembly of guiding sheaths. These are critical components used in cardiac electrophysiology procedures to help physicians accurately navigate and position diagnostic and therapeutic catheters within the heart. The majority of work will involve microscope-based assembly, requiring strong attention to detail and steady manual dexterity. While the role includes minimal soldering, the primary emphasis is on assembling delicate components with high accuracy. Experience with lab testing equipment such as torque, tension, and compression testers is highly desirable; quality assurance and performance validation are integral to the role.

Responsibilities/ Requirements:

  • Microscope Assembly: Must have previous experience performing assembly under a microscope, with magnifications ranging from 4x to 50x. Candidates must be comfortable and willing to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Small-Part Medical Assembly: Perform precise assembly of small medical components, specifically guiding sheaths used in cardiac procedures, following detailed work instructions and maintaining strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Product Testing & Documentation: Responsible for performing functional tests using lab equipment such as torque, tension, and compression testers. Must accurately complete all required documentation to support production and quality standards.
  • Manual Dexterity & Tool Use: Requires strong manual dexterity and proficiency in using small hand tools, power tools, tweezers, razor blades, soldering irons, and other precision instruments in a cleanroom or lab environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to support new product development efforts. Provide detailed feedback on assembly processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communication & Comprehension Skills: Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Able to interpret work orders, standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual aids, and engineering drawings with accuracy and clarity to ensure adherence to detailed assembly and testing instructions.

If you have experience in microscopic assembly and are driven by meaningful work that positively impacts people's lives, we would love to hear from you.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an up-to-date resume for immediate consideration. If your qualifications align with our requirements, a Kelly Services representative will reach out to you.

Thank you,
