Description We are offering an engaging opportunity in the manufacturing industry for an Entry Level Accountant in Torrance, California. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, from managing daily transactions to assisting with high-level financial operations. As an Accountant, you will be required to process and reconcile accounts receivable and payable transactions, manage debit and credit notes, and maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities: - Managing daily accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records - Processing and reconciling accounts receivable and payable transactions on a daily basis - Ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions - Performing general ledger account reconciliations regularly and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records - Assisting in the month-end and year-end closing processes - Providing backup support to the Accounting Manager for urgent issues and preparing financial statements and reports as needed - Participating in accounting process improvement initiatives and contributing to special financial projects as assigned - Assisting with internal and external audits as required - Creating direct ARS Orders in SAP HANA and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system - Uploading proxy orders to SAP and Avatax systems. Requirements - Possess knowledge and proficiency in Account Coding - Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is essential - Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required - Experience with Dynamics NAV is beneficial - Understanding of ERP Solutions is necessary - Capability to perform Account Analysis accurately - Ability to manage Accounting Entries efficiently - Familiarity with various Accounting Functions - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required - Experience with the Accounts Payable (AP) process is beneficial Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
